Dance Team

The goal for our dance teams, is for our dancers to grow together and individually through:​

MINI HIP HOP TEAM

  • Ages 6-8. Dancer's must be age of group by Jan.1 2026

  • Families must have all outstanding fees paid in full. 

  • Summer Intensives- Dancers must attend the Summer Intensives in order to try out for the team. While full attendance is encouraged, we understand if your dancer can’t make every single day—just let us know in advance.

  • Try-outs- Every dancer must try out for the team. A panel of 2 judges will judge the try outs. All dancers must participate in tryouts to be considered for team placement, regardless of previous experience or previous team membership. Past placement does not guarantee a spot for the upcoming season. We want to see each dancer bring their best, show their growth, and give it their all!

  • To ensure all dancers continue to grow in skill, strength, and versatility, the following class requirements apply for the 2025–2026 season:

    • All dancers must be enrolled in a Recreational Hip Hop class as part of their training for the season.

    • Dancers are required to complete a minimum of 2.5–4 hours of dance training per week.

    • In order to meet this requirement, dancers must be enrolled in additional classes beyond their Competitive Team class(es). These may include ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, technique, or other styles.

    • These requirements are in place to support dancer development, injury prevention, and team readiness.

  • Dancers are required to attend 1 dance convention. This will be held in Wisconsin Dells at the Showstopper’s Dance Convention on October, 10-12th 2025.

  • Dancers will attend 3 Regional Competitions, perform during half-time at a Dodgeville High School basketball game (date TBD), perform in the Studio V Dance Recitals, and attend the Nationals (if they qualify).
