TEAM INFORMATION

TRY OUTS

AUGUST 5 & 7 

$10.00 Tryout Fee Per Team. 

Dancers only need to attend 1 tryout date.

Located at Studio V Dance Studio.

  • Mini Hip Hop Team- 4:00-4:45 pm

  • Juniors Hip Hop Team- 4:45-5:30 pm

  • Juniors Jazz Team- 5:30-6:15 pm

  • Teen/Senior Jazz Team- 6:15-7:00 pm

  • Teen/Senior Hip Hop Team- 7:00-7:45pm

PLACEMENT

Dancers will audition on one of the audition days in a class of students which will include a warm-up, stretch, across the floor, and a short choreography piece. A panel of two judges will be scoring the students on technique, presence, expressions, and overall work ethic and attitude. The audition results will be communicated via email 1 week after auditions are completed. Dancers should be dressed appropriately for each dance style with hair pulled back. 

 

Dancers placement in the teams will be determined by their scores as well as how the Studio V Dance Staff feel would be the best fit for each team. This will be at the discretion of the studio staff and the decision of the Studio V Staff will be final.

ATTENDANCE

Dancers are expected to arrive to class on time and dressed appropriately, hair pulled back, and in proper dance shoes. 

Team members will be allowed to miss three (3) pre-approved lessons per class. Exceptions to this would be student/family illness, family death and pre-approved school functions. If a dancer misses more than 3 practices, without prior approval, he/she will be removed from the class with no refund of fees.

Students who are injured will still be expected to observe class if able. 

Classes can be made up in other similar classes. 

TEAM FEES

*Pay in full and receive a 5% discount on tuition.

MINIS

Tuition Fees- Quarterly Tuition Fees per dance team will be reflected in the schedule & Parent Portal (between $65-$80 per quarter). Exact quarterly fee TBD.

 

Total Costume Fee Per Team- $75.00. Due in 1st quarter. 

 

Hip Hop Shoe Fee- TBD

 

JUNIORS

Tuition Fees- Quarterly Tuition Fees per dance team will be reflected in the schedule & Parent Portal (between $65-$80 per quarter). Exact quarterly fee TBD.

 

Total Costume Fee Per Team- $80.00. Due in 1st quarter. 

 

Hip Hop Shoe Fee- TBD

 

TEENS

Tuition Fees- Quarterly Tuition Fees per dance team will be reflected in the schedule & Parent Portal (between $65-$80 per quarter). Exact quarterly fee TBD.

 

Total Costume Fee Per Team- $85.00. Due in 1st quarter.

 

Hip Hop Shoe Fee- TBD

Jazz Shoe Fee- $39.00 (dancers may use previous jazz shoes if the shoes worn are the same)

 

SENIORS

Tuition Fees- Quarterly Tuition Fees per dance team will be reflected in the schedule & Parent Portal (between $65-$80 per quarter). Exact quarterly fee TBD.

 

Total Costume Fee Per Team- $90.00. Due in 1st quarter.

 

Hip Hop Shoe Fee- TBD

Jazz Shoe Fee- $39.00 (dancers may use previous jazz shoes if the shoes worn are the same)

FUNDRAISING

Fundraising may be done at any point to earn money towards competitive costs. If a parent would like to set-up a fundraiser, please notify Miss Mary.​

​- All fundraisers must be planned by a parent(s).

WITHDRAW FROM TEAM

If a dancer is injured and no longer able to participate with the team, the remainder of the team balance for the year will be voided. 

If a dancer drops from the team during the season, the family will still be responsible for the full team tuition fees for the season.
